Tracking Student Performance

Course instructors are able to review, grade, and track students' responses to assessments.

To access the Performance tracker, go to the My Courses page and click on your course's icon to launch the course dashboard.

Click Performance in the lefthand menu.

That will bring up a dashboard that displays key stats about student performance on instructor-create assessments. You'll see which students have/haven't answered each assessment, as well as the class's overall success rate for each assessment.

Multiple-choice assessments are scored automatically. To evaluate open-ended/short answer assessment responses, click on the Pending Evaluation button in the Question Summary box.

That will open a list of all the students responses that require instructor evaluation. Use the Grade and Comment fields to provide feedback for your students.

Students can find their scores and feedback by clicking the Feedback button in the Course Menu.
