Fill out a .csv file (spreadsheet) with the following information:
- Session Code (Mandatory) - This is automatically assigned when the session is created. You can find the Session Code for your course session in the back office (Manage -> Course Sessions/Classes)
- Username: This is the student's/teacher's Username. (Mandatory)
- Role: Student or Teacher. (Mandatory)
- Status: Active to enroll, Inactive to remove from course. (Mandatory)
Your document must mirror the below example. (All spreadsheets must be saved as a .csv comma delimited file type.) A template of this spreadsheet is available for download on this page.
You can add students and instructors to more than one course in the same spreadsheet. Add theUsername to an additional row and fill in the row with the desired Course, Term, and Session.
Note: The cells in the Course Name, Session Name, and Term columns can be left blank, but the column headers must be included.
LOCATING SESSION CODES
- Go to Manage -> Course Sessions/Classes.
- Locate Session Code column in the list of results.
- Export a list of session codes by clicking the blue Export button at the top of the page.
- Map Session Codes to the Bulk Enrollment spreadsheet.
IMPORTING YOUR SPREADSHEET
Once your spreadsheet is complete and formatted correctly, follow the steps below to import your .csv file into the back office.
- Go to Manage -> Course Sessions/Classes.
- Click Bulk Operations.
- Click Import Enrollments.
- A new window will pop up. Click Upload, then select the spreadsheet containing the required enrollment information.
- Click Continue.
- Once the batch import is complete, you will see a results section showing the number of successful enrollments, as well as any error messages.
- If the system finds an error with the uploaded file, the error will be indicated in the form of a pop up box or via the results section.
- Example Error 1: System is indicating an error, because the Course was not created prior to the enrollment attempt.

- In the event of a failed upload, you can download and edit your spreadsheet by clicking Export Results.
